What’s it all about?

Ever since my partner and I first travelled outside Europe, to India in 2013, planning our next travels permanently had our imagination captured. In a tale as old as time, after 8 years of corporate life in London, we started obsessing about whether there was another way to do things. I realised I didn’t want to live for just planning the next trip, but hoped to find a way to build a life we did not want to travel away from.

In Spring 2022, we set off on what was ostensibly a year of travel. Fast forward to now and we have found a spot that feels like home for us in a lesser crowded corner of Bali.

I started this site as a place to collate my thoughts and share the travel tips I wish I could have read. It’s now expanded to group some of Indonesia’s overwhelmingly huge furniture and house goods selection options in one place too!
